A tiny, powerful open source boost converter board based on TPS61022RWUR.

Specs:
- Tiny 8.5 x 10.8mm PCB
- 1.8V to 5.5V input (suitable for 1S Li-ion or 5V USB-C)
- 2.2V to 5.5V output
- Vout must be greater than Vin
- set Vout with 1206 size resistor
- 3A max output current
- Booster Gold is thermally limited. Try to keep losses
below 750mW for best results at high output currents.

- Auto-PFM mode for decent efficiency at low loads
- 90 - 95% efficient
Usage:
- These regulator boards are cheap, simple modules for quick and dirty builds. Don't expect perfection!
- Solder a 1206 size resistor to the footprint on the bottom of the PCB to set Vout.
3V - 7.50kΩ
3.3V - 6.65kΩ
3.5V - 6.19kΩ
4.0V - 5.23kΩ
5.0V - 4.02kΩ
5.5V - 3.65kΩ
To calculate the resistor value for other voltages, use the following formula:
- The regulator is enabled by default. Connect the EN pin to GND to disable the regulator.
- Booster Gold does not need external capacitors. However, some applications may benefit from external electrolytic caps.
- Booster Gold's output current capability is thermally limited. Try to keep losses below 750mW for best results and lowest temperatures.
PCB designed in KiCAD. Manufactured and assembled by JLCPCB. Tested in New Mexico.
